A serious incident recently occurred on a bus in the Alto Mantovano, involving two underage students residing in Canneto sull’Oglio. On Friday afternoon, during an argument between the two boys, aged 16 and 17, the younger one pulled out a blank-firing pistol from his jacket and shot directly into the mouth of his companion. Although the weapon was a blank, the shot caused significant injuries: the victim lost three teeth and suffered facial trauma that necessitated hospitalization at the Mantova hospital.
After the incident, the 16-year-old allegedly attempted to dispose of the pistol, likely throwing it in an unidentified location. However, thanks to the testimonies of witnesses and the recordings from the bus’s surveillance cameras, the Carabinieri of the Mantova company were able to thoroughly reconstruct the dynamics of the event. The young man is currently under investigation for aggravated injury.
