Mayor Malossini, after meeting with the Ags board of directors at the beginning of the week, spoke about the company’s future in Trento, together with colleagues from the capital, Rovereto, and Pergine.

Decisions Regarding the Future of Ags

Heavy decisions are on the table. It is necessary to establish a company that will acquire from Enel the electricity distribution network that the national entity plans to divest.

In Riva, this matters because some of the customers of the former municipal company are still served by the national entity. Subsequently, it will be necessary to define the composition and characteristics of another company responsible for managing the energy distribution, using the facilities of the first.

Renewal of the Board of Directors

Regarding Ags, finally, there is also the renewal of the board of directors at stake. Franzinelli, along with colleagues Murgese, Poli, Marcolini, and Veneri, are nearing the end of their terms. In the coming weeks, they are working to close the 2000 financial statements: once approved, the accounting document will be presented to the majority shareholder, and at that time, the renewal of the positions will take place.
