Albano Morandi’s ‘Daily Gestures’ Exhibition Opens in Riva del Garda

Within Palazzo Martini in Riva, one of the upcoming exhibitions conceived by Star (Strategies for Arte Riva del Garda) during the summer season will open in the coming days.

Next Saturday at 6 p.m., an exhibition dedicated to Albano Morandi entitled “Daily Gestures” will be inaugurated.

The Poetics of Albano Morandi

Central to the artist’s work is the poetics of the fragment, of objects retrieved from a past quotidian context and revitalized through a series of aesthetic operations.

By isolating tiny relics of time destined to become fractions of eternity, completely new objects and artifacts take shape—hybrids between painting and sculpture—designed to emphasize the technical virtuosity of the creator.

Exhibition Details and Catalog

Thanks to the support of sponsors and the organization by Cavenaghi Arte of Milan, as well as the coordination of Paola Jori, the initiative will be accompanied by a catalog featuring color images documenting the recent outcomes of the artist’s research, with an introductory text by Paola Jori and a critical anthology.
