Recent investments in renewable energy production have made the photovoltaic systems of the Alpe del Garda cooperative in Tremosine energy self-sufficient. This project, which involved an investment of one million euros, has led to the installation of new photovoltaic systems on the roofs of the dairy and the barns, with a total capacity exceeding 700 kW, complementing the existing 200 kW provided by a biogas plant. The cooperative, which has always been committed to environmental respect and sustainability, aims to ensure efficient management of waste and natural resources.
This initiative is part of a journey that began in the early 2000s with the installation of the first solar panels and represents a significant step towards energy self-sufficiency. Thanks to these innovations, Alpe del Garda not only meets its energy needs but also produces more energy than it consumes, actively contributing to the promotion of renewable energy in the region.
