Alpine Rescue in Salò: Woman Injured on the Hills Above Corna

An intervention by the Alpine Rescue service in Salò ended on Sunday, 23 August 2026, after a woman was injured on the mountains above the city, in the Corna area. Rescue teams from the Valle Sabbia station of the Alpine and Speleological Rescue service (V Delegation Bresciana) were dispatched to the scene.

The team, made up of four technicians on active duty, reached the injured woman, immobilised her, and provided first aid. An Alpine Rescue nurse was also involved, using a medical backpack for advanced care in difficult terrain. The woman was first transported on a stretcher, then transferred by off-road vehicle to the ambulance at Renzano, from where she was taken to hospital.
