Gardone Riviera hosted the XVI Premio del Vittoriale, awarded to the renowned cartoonist and illustrator Altan. The ceremony took place on Saturday, November 1st, at 6:30 PM at the Museo d’Annunzio Segreto of the Vittoriale degli Italiani, where the president of the Foundation, Giordano Bruno Guerri, honored Altan for his ability to blend irony with critical intelligence through works that range from children’s publishing to political satire. With this recognition, the Foundation celebrates not only the artist’s talent but also the 50th anniversary of the creation of the famous character Pimpa. The Premio del Vittoriale is a prestigious award granted to individuals who have made a significant impact on culture and society. Previous winners include illustrious names such as Paolo Conte and Samantha Cristoforetti.
