Altogarda Volunteer Celebration at Arco Centre Launches Community Event

All volunteering gathered to celebrate the associations of Altogarda: until recently, this would have been an impossible feat, but now, with the opening of the Centre for Volunteer Services of the Province in Arco, it will become a reality today starting at 3 p.m. at the Tennis Club tent on Pomerio Street.

During the celebration, promoted in collaboration with Caritas Decanale Arco, by the Mandacarù Cooperative, Nuvola Alto Garda and Ledro, and with the sponsorship of the municipalities of Arco, Dro, Riva del Garda, and Tenno, visitors will have the opportunity to visit booths of local volunteer associations, whether they are cultural, recreational, social-assistance, international solidarity, or sports organizations, as well as attend entertainment and reflection events on the theme.

Additionally, there will be a maccheronata served to all attendees.

Program of the Day

The day’s schedule begins at 3 p.m. with the exhibition of association booths and the setup of the photographic exhibition “Terra” curated by Mandacarù, as well as a performance by the rock band «Sharp Blade» at 4 p.m.

The coffee break will be provided by Mandacarù with products from fair trade and solidarity trade.

Subsequently, activities of the sports associations will be presented, and a speech on the theme of volunteering will be given by the CSV president, Dr. Alberto Zanutto.

At 7 p.m., the anticipated “Volunteering Maccheronata”, prepared by the Alpine volunteers group.

The celebration will conclude around 8:30 p.m. with a performance by the cultural group Margarita, featuring Latin-American dances.
