In recent days, particularly over the last two weeks, the province has experienced a mild spell that has led many to return to swimming in the lake. According to data, the average daily temperature for October has been 16 degrees, influenced by a rainy first half of the month. However, highs have surpassed 30 degrees for several weeks.
Thanks to this favorable weather, many are taking advantage of the All Saints’ Day holiday to enjoy the lake’s waters. At the Azzurro beach in Maderno, for example, the water temperature has reached eighteen degrees, attracting enthusiastic bathers. An official group swim at the Azzurro beach is scheduled for November 9, and similar events are being organized in Valtenesi. This unusual climatic situation presents a positive opportunity for the local tourism sector, benefiting from the increasing presence of visitors and the festive atmosphere that ensues.
