Antonella Lattanzi Opens LibroLago Festival in Manerba del Garda with Chiara
Manerba del Garda launches LibroLago with a debut event on Monday, June 22 at 7:00 p.m., when author Antonella Lattanzi will present her novel Chiara (Einaudi) outdoors near the Church of Santa Maria in Valtenesi.
The discussion, in dialogue with curator Valentina Berengo, will focus on the intimate and psychological themes of Chiara. Lattanzi, also a journalist for Corriere della Sera and a screenwriter, will discuss the novel’s genesis and her recent narrative approach.
LibroLago is the Biblioteca di Manerba del Garda’s new initiative linking authors and readers. Admission is free until seats are full; registration on Eventbrite is recommended. Parking is available along via Pieve Vecchia and in the Montanina area. If weather is poor, the event will be held at the Pieve Vecchia. The festival continues with Daniele Mencarelli presenting Quattro presunti familiari on Wednesday, July 1 at 7:00 p.m. in Pieve Vecchia.
