Celebrating New Year’s Eve in Arco means, for over a century, taking part in the grand Veglione Danzante gala, which is consistently held inside the Municipal Casino. Tomorrow evening, the magnificent halls of Arco will be strictly dressed in celebration to welcome numerous guests who will spend New Year’s Eve dancing and toasting.

At midnight, a small buffet with zampone (pork trotter stuffing), lentils, and plenty of sparkling wine, followed again by dancing. All in a style vaguely reminiscent of the Austro-Hungarian era, as is customary beneath the palms.
