A new motion has been introduced to request the implementation of camper parking areas near hospitals in Lombardy, with particular attention to the hospital in Desenzano. Regional councilor Claudia Carzeri has expressed her support, emphasizing the importance of making the region more welcoming and inclusive for everyone, including campers. This initiative stems from requests made by camper associations and has already been successfully implemented in other areas, as demonstrated by the positive experience at the Poliambulanza in Brescia. Carzeri also highlighted that the creation of these areas will not only improve services for hospital visitors but represents a crucial step towards greater sensitivity for families caring for their hospitalized loved ones. Additionally, the councilor announced her intention to work on clarifying regional regulations regarding tourism and equipped areas, in order to further facilitate the development of these vital facilities.
