Arena Foundation Seeks Applicants for 103rd Verona Opera Festival
The Verona Arena Foundation’s Opera Festival is set to open its 103rd edition on June 12, supporting an economic impact of approximately €2 billion and providing hundreds of jobs. This year’s festival will feature over 1,200 performers and staff across three months, with new productions of La Traviata, La Bohème, and two Aida stagings directed by Stefano Poda and Franco Zeffirelli.
Recruitment is underway for various roles, including extras, ticketing, stage crew, security, and announcers. Applications for extras are open to residents of Verona born between 1968-1978 and 1986-2008, with a deadline of February 12. Additional openings for artistic, technical, and administrative staff are available until March 25, with opportunities for spontaneous applications across multiple positions.
