A 46-year-old man was arrested in Peschiera del Garda by the Carabinieri after being found in possession of cocaine intended for distribution. The operation took place on Thursday, October 30, near the A4 motorway toll booth during a routine check by the Radiomobile Unit. The officers, suspicious of the nervous behavior of two passengers in a car, conducted a search that led to the discovery of approximately nine grams of cocaine inside a cellophane wrapper. The man, already known to law enforcement, was arrested in the act and subsequently placed under house arrest by order of the judicial authorities. The following day, Friday, October 31, he appeared before the judge at the Verona Court: the arrest was validated and the hearing was postponed until March 2026, with the accused released.
