Asics Malcesine Baldo Trail Expands, Attracting Over 1,100 International Runners
ASICS Malcesine Baldo Trail confirms continued growth ahead of next weekend, with more than 1,100 entrants, an 18% international component from 32 nations, and a 24% female share. The trail race, which traverses Malcesine and Monte Baldo on the Veneto–Trentino-Alto Adige border, is organized by VRM TEAM ASD, and online registrations close Thursday evening.
The event features three courses: Ultra 52 km (3,541 m D+), starting Saturday at 07:30 from Malcesine with a pass-through at the cable car station; Medium 26 km (2,117 m D+) starting Saturday at 08:30; and Short 16 km (1,185 m D+) starting Sunday at 10:00. Awards are scheduled for Saturday at 15:00 (followed by a live concert) and Sunday at 13:00. The race adheres to the “Io non getto i miei rifiuti” campaign, with immediate disqualification for any athlete caught discarding waste.
