An assault occurred in Desenzano del Garda around 6:30 PM on Sunday, February 9, involving a 52-year-old homeless Polish man. The man was robbed by three individuals, two North African men and a Romanian woman, near the Audi Saottini Auto dealership on Via Marconi. The carabinieri quickly intervened at the scene following the report of the incident, which targeted the victim’s mobile phone.
As a result of the assault, the homeless man sustained injuries to his hand and required assistance from the Garda Emergenza medical team, who transported him in green code to the hospital in Desenzano for necessary treatment. Investigations into the incident are currently underway to clarify further details about the assault and identify those responsible.
