In the night between Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, inside the well-known fast food restaurant, a man of Moroccan origin created moments of intense tension by disturbing customers while in a state of evident psychological and physical agitation. The situation escalated when some patrons contacted emergency services at 112 to request police intervention; upon the arrival of the Carabinieri, the individual reacted violently, striking the officers with kicks and punches.
The prompt intervention led to the immobilization and arrest of the 48-year-old for resisting and violently assaulting a public official. During the operation, one of the Carabinieri sustained injuries deemed healable within ten days. Additionally, a personal search revealed that the man was in possession of 3 grams of cocaine and 5.5 grams of hashish, resulting in charges for possession with intent to distribute. After the necessary formalities, the individual was transferred to the Mantova Prison, at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
