Assault on Carabinieri in Desenzano del Garda: Chaos in the Outpatient Clinics
Desenzano del Garda: a couple causes chaos at the outpatient clinic, a police officer assaulted. In the reception area of the Desenzano hospital, there were moments of high tension when two foreign nationals created a disturbance after their request for a dental appointment was denied. The pair had arrived at the outpatient clinic with an expired health service and, following the staff’s refusal, began to protest by lying on the floor and blocking the entrance, refusing to leave the premises.
The intervention of the carabinieri from the Desenzano company was requested via 112, and upon their arrival, the situation quickly escalated. The man physically assaulted one of the officers, causing him minor injuries during the attempt to identify him. Both assailants, who had no prior convictions, were subdued and taken to the police station; the man was arrested in the act, while his wife received a complaint for resisting a public official. The judge subsequently validated the arrest, imposing house arrest on the man pending trial.
