Two women, a 19-year-old pregnant woman and a 13-year-old girl, were apprehended by the Carabinieri in Toscolano Maderno after attempting to break into an apartment to steal. The incident occurred on August 30, 2024, when the homeowner caught the thieves upon returning from some errands.
The two women, who were from Turin and homeless, tried to escape but were quickly stopped by the authorities. The young mother was arrested, and the judge confirmed the arrest, imposing a ban on her residence. The 13-year-old, on the other hand, was placed in the care of social services.
