The bad weather has severely impacted the province of Brescia, resulting in around a hundred interventions by the Firefighters. The adverse weather conditions began on Wednesday evening and continued into Thursday, April 17, forcing rescue teams to work intensively to address emergency requests. Just yesterday, the Provincial Command recorded approximately 90 interventions, primarily focused on clearing fallen trees and managing flooding, which particularly affected urban areas, the lowlands of Brescia, and some regions around the lake.
The operations continued into the evening hours, thanks to coordination with law enforcement agencies. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported among the population due to the severe weather. The situation remains under monitoring as the Firefighters continue to ensure safety in the area.
