Severe weather and a landslide in Gargnano have isolated four localities, causing significant disruptions for the community. Tomorrow, a team of technicians is scheduled to conduct an inspection to assess the conditions of the unstable slope of Montegargnano, which experienced landslides on Saturday and at dawn, affecting the municipal road leading to Liano, Formaga Costa, and Briano. Volunteers from the civil protection are already on-site to assist with the clearance of the road from the debris.
To facilitate access to the isolated areas, a cemented path has been prepared for small and medium-sized vehicles, beginning near the school and winding through the chestnut grove until it reaches the small church in Liano. The situation is being monitored by the relevant authorities while necessary interventions continue to restore traffic in the area affected by the severe weather.
