Baldo Garda Region Officially Recognized to Boost Local Tourism

Since one week ago, the Baldo Garda area has become an officially approved region by the Provincial Council. The amendment that included this specific part of Veneto, adjacent to the mountain areas, Valpolicella, metropolitan zone, Sambonifacese, and Bassa, bears the signature of Stefano Zaninelli, Lega Nord councilor. It was created to foster unity within a territory that, in practice, increasingly interacts and should therefore be considered a unique geographical and economic entity.

Impact on the territorial plan

“The proposal was passed unanimously,” states Stefano Zaninelli, “and it is crucial for the future, because it will guide the provincial territorial plan (Ptp) which will be discussed in the Council this autumn.” Each area will find its own vocation within the Provincial Territorial Plan, and for Baldo Garda, this will undoubtedly be tourism revitalization.

Decentralization of provincial offices

Furthermore, each zone will host a decentralization of provincial offices.
