Bardolino’s bid to become Italy’s Cultural Capital for 2029 is gaining momentum, with a recent event at Teatro Corallo involving nearly 200 students from local schools. The initiative emphasizes active youth involvement, seen as essential for promoting Bardolino’s cultural, historical, and gastronomic heritage across the community and the Lago di Garda region.

Participants showcased their work from thematic workshops on topics such as accessibility, local wine promotion, tourism, and storytelling through podcasts featuring residents. Local authorities, including Mayor Daniele Bertasi, highlighted ongoing efforts and future plans for workshops to strengthen ties between schools, residents, and the cultural project, aiming to establish Bardolino as a national cultural hub.
