The Municipality of Bardolino has received a significant regional grant of 312,000 euros aimed at improving road safety through the construction of a new roundabout on Via Mirabello, at the intersection with S.R. 249. The total cost of the project is estimated at 600,000 euros, and the announcement was made yesterday at Palazzo Gelmetti, the town hall. Mayor Daniele Bertasi emphasized the importance of the project, highlighting that the intersection is a critical point for local traffic, given the presence of a public parking lot, a supermarket, and access to various commercial activities.
The construction of the roundabout aims to enhance traffic flow and ensure greater safety for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as to improve the entrance to the town. Bertasi also expressed satisfaction with the work carried out by the municipal offices, particularly by the head of the Public Works Department, Ennio Residori, who played a key role in making this intervention possible ahead of the initially planned schedule.
