Bardolino keeps 2026 Tari rates unchanged thanks to extraordinary coverage

Bardolino’s 2026 Tari (waste tax) rates have been approved by the municipal council, after the Council of the Verona Nord basin approved the 2026 Economic and Financial Plan. The plan estimates total waste service costs at about €2.9 million, while the municipality, led by Mayor Daniele Bertasi, will offset part of the increase using revenue from the tourist tax, recovered tax evasion, national ministry contributions and other extraordinary income, bringing the amount required through Tari to roughly €2.6 million. The calculation parameters remain unchanged under national rules and ARERA guidance, according to Finance Assessor Simone Corradini.

For 2026, the municipality also confirmed the social Tari bonus, automatically granted to eligible low-income households meeting the required ISEE thresholds, with a 25% reduction of the amount due. Payments are scheduled in two installments—by 31 August 2026 and 31 December 2026—with the option to pay the full balance in a single payment by 31 August 2026.
