Bardolino Opens Garda Community Satellite Office to Coordinate Security and Mobility
Bardolino, Verona — The Veronese municipality officially hosts the Comunità del Garda’s satellite headquarters in Villa Carrara Bottagisio, supplementing the main office in Salò (Brescia). The inauguration, attended by Mayor Daniele Bertasi and Comunità president Senator Mariastella Gelmini, established the office to coordinate administrative and project activities across the Garda region starting yesterday.
During the opening, Bertasi reiterated the villa’s role as an operational base for the Veronese shore. Gelmini announced that a directive had already been discussed to address security in cooperation with the Guardia Costiera and Gardesana mobility, underscoring the need for political collaboration among mayors and provinces. The satellite office will oversee protection, valorization, and strategic planning of the territory.
