The Municipality of Bardolino has initiated an important drain cleaning operation, essential for ensuring proper maintenance of rainwater and preventing flooding. This intervention, which will take place in several phases starting from the historic center, will involve various areas of the municipal territory, with particular attention to the zones most vulnerable to debris accumulation. The Councillor for Ecology, Simone Corradini, emphasized the use of specialized equipment for self-cleaning and the collaboration with experts to inspect and maintain the drains.
Mayor Daniele Bertasi has called on citizens to report any issues and adopt responsible behaviors by refraining from throwing waste or cigarette butts in the streets and drains. He also warned against the use of chemical cleaning products, highlighting how even small actions can contribute to the protection of the local environment. The cleaning of the drains represents a fundamental step in safeguarding the territory and the quality of the lake’s waters.
