With the onset of the summer season, Salò has initiated targeted inspections on the beaches to ensure tourist safety. Last Friday, at the initiative of the municipal administration, the Local Police coordinated a joint operation alongside the Financial Police and Carabinieri, supported by the presence of the canine unit from the Local Police of Brescia. The primary objective was to ensure proper use of the beaches, preventing uncivil or illegal behavior that could disturb tourists and residents.
During the operations, inspections were also conducted in the underground parking lot Martiri della Libertà, where reports of young individuals exhibiting problematic behavior had been received. Patrols of the bay will continue throughout the summer period, as confirmed by Mayor Francesco Cagnini and Security Councilor Roberto Novelli, who expressed gratitude to all law enforcement forces involved in maintaining safety in the city.
