Benedetti’s Gli Istanti Sells Out at Vittoriale, Bringing More Light to the Venue

“Più luce! | Benedetti gli istanti,” curated by Paola Veneto, will be staged on Sunday, July 12 at 9:15 p.m. at the Anfiteatro del Vittoriale degli Italiani. The event—part of the Tener-a-mente program in its ninth year—features actors Lucia Limonta and Simone Tudda, with music by Rusty Brass, and is already sold out.

The show blends theatre, music and literature around the beauty of the moment, drawing on texts by Italo Calvino, Anna Achmatova, Horace, Bertolt Brecht, Walt Whitman and Mariangela Gualtieri. Their works are interwoven with Rusty Brass compositions spanning reggae, bossa nova, funk and jazz; Limonta and Tudda perform reworked versions created for the production, which also generated a waiting list.
