The Lake Garda History Festival is set to shine a spotlight on Silvio Berlusconi, with an event scheduled for Friday, July 11, at 8:30 PM in the Sala dei Provveditori, located within the municipality of Salò. The analysis will be led by political scientist and historian Giovanni Orsina, renowned for his in-depth knowledge of the history of Italy’s Second Republic. Admission is free, providing an important opportunity to discuss and reconsider a political phase that continues to influence the current context.
This third edition of the festival, organized by the Centro Studi Rsi under the presidency of Professor Roberto Chiarini, features five evenings dedicated to key figures of 20th-century Italy. In addition to Orsina’s talk on Berlusconi, other lectures are planned with prominent historians and writers, including Silvio Pons on Enrico Berlinguer on July 19 and Fabio Martini on Bettino Craxi on July 20. All events will take place at 8:30 PM in the same location and will also be available for live streaming on the YouTube channel of the Centro Studi Rsi.
