Riva del Garda is preparing to host an event that brings together art, nature, and history in the picturesque setting of the Du Lac et du Parc hotel park. The initiative, titled “Traces of Ephemeral Art,” will begin on Saturday, October 19, offering participants the opportunity to explore the area through a path that highlights the natural and cultural beauty of the region.

## A Journey of Discovery

The **civic library** and the **historical archive** of Riva del Garda are organizing a walk that invites not only botanical discovery but also historical observation. During the event, participants will have the chance to collect natural materials such as leaves, flowers, and stones, which will be used later to create artistic works. These creations will primarily be made from recycled materials, thus emphasizing the connection between creativity and environmental sustainability.

## The Art of the Ephemeral

The concept of “ephemeral” is central to the proposed activity: it refers to something that has a limited duration. This idea will be reflected in the works created by the participants, which will represent not only creative acts but also shared moments of transient artistic expression. The walk serves as an opportunity to experience the value of creativity in relation to the fragility of life and the beauty of nature.

## Event Details

The initial meeting will take place on Saturday, October 19, at 3:00 PM, with gathering at the main entrance of the hotel located at Viale Rovereto 44. Experts Fiorenza Tisi (botanist), Maria Luisa Crosina (historian), and Sabrina Zanon (psychopedagogue) will guide participants in discovering the botanical and historical features of the park. It is recommended to bring a basket or a tote bag to collect materials during the walk.

### Upcoming Events

Following the first walk, additional workshops are planned:

**Saturday, November 16**, at 2:30 PM at the library: “Paper Petals.” Participants will learn to create origami flowers using pages from old books and colored paper. **Saturday, December 14**, at 2:30 PM at the library: “Fragile Sculptures.” In this workshop, dried leaves will be used to create small sculptures decorated through manual techniques such as crochet and embroidery. The workshops are limited in capacity; therefore, prior reservation is required by contacting the civic library directly.

This initiative is the result of collaboration among various local entities and industry experts, aimed at promoting greater awareness of the natural and cultural heritage present in the area.
