Following the mass, scheduled for 11:00 at the chapel of San Vigilio, blessed bread will be distributed to attendees, in accordance with an ancient testamentary provision from an elderly woman who survived the plague in the 1500s. This custom has been passed down through the centuries and represents a moment of communion for the local community.
The day will begin with a gathering at 9:00 in the Lignago area for those who wish to reach Droane with a walk of about two hours. After the mass and the distribution of bread, guests will have the opportunity to savor traditional dishes at the food stand, which will open at 12:30, offering skewers, sandwiches with salamella, and grilled Tombea cheese.
