Bremen Tennis Center: Management Confirmed for Polisportiva Sirmione

The municipal council of Sirmione has confirmed an eight-year public-interest award for the Centro Tennis Brema to Polisportiva Sirmione A.S.D., after a comparative review ordered by the Lombardy Regional Administrative Court (TAR). The decision follows the TAR’s earlier suspension of the previous contract, which had been challenged by CS Tennis Team SSD.

Among the factors cited in the reassessment is a €43,000 investment in new LED lighting for courts 3 and 4, enabling evening use of the facility. The evaluation also includes social measures such as a free membership card for resident minors and discounts for residents over 60.

The legal dispute is not fully over: a merits hearing before the TAR is scheduled for February 17, 2027. The local administration said it has fully complied with the court’s instructions, conducting a new technical and administrative review and concluding that Polisportiva Sirmione’s proposal best serves the public interest, with particular attention to facility accessibility and youth participation in sport.
