Brescia: First Aid Training Initiative in Piazza Paolo VI a Success
On Saturday, May 16, in Piazza Paolo VI, Brescia, the event “From Two Hands to the Heart” promoted first-aid training, organized by the University of Brescia in collaboration with AREU and local volunteer groups. Theoretical sessions and practical drills trained participants—students, faculty, and technical-administrative staff—and enabled them to perform BLS and to be officially authorized to use an AED (DAE) in the initial management of cardiac emergencies.
During the day, the Brescia Command of the National Fire Brigade contributed four TPSS instructors, providing expertise and resources for the training alongside AREU and territorial rescue volunteers. The initiative aims to spread the culture of first aid and reinforce civic responsibility.
