Salò is preparing for the second edition of Brescia Fabbrica Poesia, a literary competition that celebrates poetry as a bridge between the digital realm and the local community. The initiative, promoted by various local media and supported by the Municipality of Salò and the Cassa Rurale – Adamello Giudicarie Valsabbia and Paganella, offers a first prize of 1,000 euros and welcomes participants until January 31, 2025. This year, the competition has broadened its horizons by including a specific section dedicated to local schools, aiming to engage young people in the world of poetry.
The project’s promoters have emphasized the importance of placing poetry at the heart of cultural life, highlighting how this literary genre can contribute to a new humanism in an age dominated by the speed of information. With posters displayed throughout the city to showcase the winning works, the initiative aims to give visibility to local creativity and stimulate deep reflection on human values through poetic writing.
