Brescia Ring Road Gets New Signs Honoring Alcide De Gasperi

Brescia Province announced plans to install 14 new signs along the Southern Bypass to enhance the visibility of its designation named after Alcide De Gasperi. The signage upgrade is part of ongoing maintenance efforts and aims to improve the recognition of the infrastructure’s historical name.

The initiative, supported by local authorities and led by the provincial administration, precedes a comprehensive signage review and a broader project of major maintenance on the entire route. Paolo Fontana, Roads Councilor, stated that the signs serve both a symbolic and communicative purpose, highlighting De Gasperi’s association with the bypass since its inauguration.
