Brescia to Host Confirmatory Referendum with Over 950,000 Voters at 1,172 Polling Stations

Brescia’s prefecture has announced the upcoming referendum confirmation vote scheduled for March 22-23, 2026. Voting will take place from 7:00 to 23:00 on the first day and from 7:00 to 15:00 on the second, with vote counting conducted by designated committees at each polling station.

A total of 951,602 eligible voters are registered across 1,172 polling stations in 205 municipalities, an increase of 2,747 voters compared to the previous referendum in June 2025. For the first time, voters will no longer be divided by gender. Major municipalities include Brescia with 203 polling stations and nearly 196,000 voters, followed by Desenzano del Garda and Montichiari. Election results will be available on the Eligendo platform and mobile app.
