Brescia Wine Route Gains Momentum with New Promotions and Collaborations
Just a few months after the official launch, the Strada dei Vini Bresciani del Garda is becoming an increasingly prominent entity: there are now 48 members—including wineries, accommodation facilities, olive oil producers, and associations—part of this organization, which will host an intensive promotional program during this weekend, featuring some of the leading names in specialized tourism and enology press.
The initiative, which runs until Sunday, aims to raise media awareness of the culinary and touristic value of the Brescia Riviera del Garda, and it also includes some public moments.
Events and Tastings
In Gardone Riviera, tonight and tomorrow, between 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM, the Strada dei Vini Bresciani del Garda will be a guest at the D’Annunzian festivals, setting up an information booth in the historic center where visitors can also taste for free the wines of the designated geographic indications (DOC) located along the route, namely Garda Classico, San Martino della Battaglia, and Lugana.
“We started only a few months ago, but we can already say that we are highly satisfied with the results we have achieved,” said Andrea Guetta, president of the Association overseeing the management and promotion of the Strada.
– Our organization is attracting the excellence of our territory, both in terms of wine tourism offerings and hotel services.”
Collaborations and Future Plans
The Association, which is preparing the guidebook of the Strada, is beginning to see participation from municipalities along the route, starting with Lonato and Toscolano.
These are the latest signs of what, according to Guetta, is “a cutting-edge initiative destined to define the territory with a truly innovative offer, providing an additional opportunity for the many visitors to Lake Garda.”
