A weekend of the Italian Athletics Championships brought significant successes for athletes from Brescia in Caorle, where several victories and podium finishes were recorded. Among the standout performers was the exceptional Nadia Battocletti from Fiamme Azzurre, who claimed gold in both the 5000 meters and the 1500 meters, bringing her total to 14 absolute Italian titles. Gardesana athlete Asia Tavernini made a victorious debut in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.87 meters and securing her first absolute title.
The 4×400 relay team from Atletica Chiari 1964 Libertas won gold thanks to Bordiga, Falappi, Astolfi, and Akwannor. Twenty-four-year-old Elena Carraro from Fiamme Gialle dominated the 100-meter hurdles, surpassing Italian record holder Giada Camassi. In the 400 meters, Anna Polinari achieved an important gold with a time of 51.77 seconds, while Francesco Pernici from Fiamme Gialle took the second step on the podium in the 800 meters. Enrico Vecchi and Alessia Seramondi delivered solid performances in the men’s 3000 meters steeplechase and women’s 400 meters hurdles, respectively.
