The Brotherhood of the Snail celebrated its fifteenth anniversary on Wednesday, March 26, at Trattoria La Rassica in Lonato del Garda, with a gathering that saw the participation of promoters and new supporters. During the event, ideas were shared to expand culinary activities related to the snail, a typical dish of the area, with a focus on engaging younger generations to connect them with this culinary tradition. Among the proposals that emerged, there is a notable intention to promote playful events that encourage slowing down and enjoying the present moments, emphasizing the value of participation over competition.
The first scheduled event will take place on June 5 at the same trattoria, where a celebration open to the public will be held to commemorate not only the 15 years of the Brotherhood but also the 115 years of Trattoria La Rassica, recognized as a historic establishment by the Lombardy Region. This event represents a unique opportunity to appreciate local gastronomic events and enjoy a day dedicated to conviviality and culinary culture.
