This afternoon, a partial collapse of an old building occurred at a farmhouse located in the area known as “Brodazzo” in Desenzano. The Fire Brigade of Brescia was promptly alerted and dispatched two teams to the site, along with canine units and OOMT specialists to conduct searches for any potential victims among the debris. Fortunately, the operations confirmed that no one was involved in the incident.
The relevant authorities have initiated checks on the structural safety of the building, and stabilization work continued for several hours after the collapse. The situation has been closely monitored to ensure that there are no further risks in the area, given the occasional presence of homeless individuals in the vicinity affected by the event.
