A burglary took place in Calcinato, where two criminals were arrested during their escape thanks to the intervention of the State Police. The thieves, who had just stolen 10,000 euros in cash and jewelry valued at approximately 40,000 euros, were attempting to evade law enforcement by using a scanner to intercept radio communications. However, the electronic monitoring system in the area alerted the authorities to a suspicious license plate.
The officers quickly intercepted the criminals’ vehicle, finding the stolen goods inside. The two men were arrested and taken to the police station, while the money and jewelry were returned to their rightful owners. This incident highlights the importance of collaboration between technology and law enforcement in the fight against local crime.
