A fire broke out this morning at Myreplast Industries, located in Bedizzole, on Via Monteroseo. The flames were reported around 10:30 AM and are believed to have originated from a smoke extraction duct used during the plastic processing operations. The prompt intervention of the firefighters, who deployed several teams to the scene, helped contain the blaze and prevent further damage to the facility.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported among the company’s employees. To ensure environmental safety, technicians from Arpa also intervened to monitor for potential contamination; thanks to a drainage system, the water used to extinguish the fire was collected in designated storage tanks, thus avoiding negative impacts on the surrounding area.
