The Bvg Trail, held in Navazzo di Gargnano on the eve of Easter, saw the participation of around 700 athletes on a day characterized by gray skies and ideal running conditions. Among the highlights of the Ultra Trail of 55 km, South Tyrolean Marco De Salvador and Mantuan Nicola Bassi crossed the finish line together, replicating their success from the previous year with a time of 5h42’48”. On the women’s podium, local runner Cristina Filippini dominated the race, finishing in 7h12’37”, followed by Laura Catti and Raffaella Canino.
In the 42 km Marathon, Luca Carrara took first place with a time of 4h10’40”, while German athlete Lisa Madlener won the women’s category in 5h36’16”. The 21 km Run saw Michele Massetti and Chiara Vitale excel in their respective categories. The event also served as a qualifier for the UISP National Championship, confirming the success of the tenth edition of the Bvg Trail, an event that combines effort with breathtaking scenery.
