The ninth edition of the BVG Trail will take place on Saturday, April 20th, on the trails of Alto Garda Bresciano. This event, which has become a classic in the field, will see the participation of approximately 500 athletes from 11 different countries.

The three courses designed between Gargnano, Tignale, and Toscolano Maderno will offer breathtaking views and unique competitive challenges. The Run, with a distance of 23 km and a positive elevation gain of 1050 meters, will start at 8:45 am, with a maximum expected completion time of 5 hours. The Marathon, on the other hand, will consist of 42 km and a positive elevation gain of 2600 meters, with a start time of 9:30 am and a maximum time limit of 10 and a half hours. Finally, the longest route will be the Ultra, with a distance of 55 km and a positive elevation gain of 3200 meters. The start time will be at 8:00 am, and the time limit to complete the race will be 12 hours.

The event is sponsored by Oxyburn and will take place in Navazzo di Gargnano, where the Trail Village will be set up as the starting and finishing point of the races. Over two hundred volunteers will be present along the courses to provide assistance to the athletes.

The event’s “green” commitment is also evident in the choice to lower the registration fees and in the race pack, which consists of a pressed cardboard medal containing seeds to plant. Additionally, all athletes will receive the photos of the courses for free. Shower facilities, refreshment stations, and assistance will also be available along the route.

The BVG Trail is also part of the “Challenge Trail Running Uisp 2023/2024,” promoted by the Trail Uisp Brescia Territorial Coordination in collaboration with other organizing companies of six events.
