Campo Rolli Hosts Brescia’s New Valtenesi Paratroopers Nucleus
On Sunday, May 31, Campo Rolli hosted the official inauguration of the Nucleo Paracadutisti Valtenesi, the new territorial unit of ANPd’I Brescia. The ceremony featured a parade and flag-raising, and the association’s flame was handed from Provincial President Graziano Taiola to the nucleus’ fiduciary Vittorio Viviani, accompanied by parachutist Vittorio Valentino. Attendees included the Mayor of Manerba del Garda Flaviano Mattiotti, mayors of Moniga del Garda and Padenghe del Garda, Vice Mayor and Councillor Luca Beltrami, Local Police Commander Massimo Landi, and representatives of the municipal administration and Manerba Servizi Turistici.
After institutional remarks, a Mass with the flame blessed, followed by public helicopter tours, a convivial lunch, and in the afternoon demonstration jumps with the opening of a large Tricolore. The nucleus aims to strengthen ANPd’I Brescia’s presence on the territory and will pursue associative activities, social initiatives, and demonstration and celebratory events in the Valtenesi. ANPd’I Brescia was elected in 2025 as Italy’s leading section by membership.
