Canottieri Garda Salò Secures FIV Award in Brenzone for International Achievements

Canottieri Garda Salò received the Italian Sailing Federation’s award for the XIV FIV Zone on February 15 in Brenzone, VR. The award, presented by Zone President Gianpaolo Montagni to sports director Fabio Rizzardini, recognized the club’s success in 2025, including multiple medals at national and international competitions, notably a gold and bronze at the 29er World Championships, a European title, and a second place at the Italian championships.

The club’s achievements are supported by strategic organizational efforts, such as targeted sponsorship campaigns for competitive teams and hiring professional coaches. Additionally, their tennis school, led by Eugenio Knerich, ranked first in Brescia province for the Standard School category in the FITP Grand Prix 2025, and launched a new Academy offering personalized training and technical support for young athletes competing nationally and internationally.
