The Canottieri Garda Salò has triumphed in the Coppa Merendon 2025, thanks to the performance of its Optimist team, which secured second place at the Trofeo Gardini held in Ravenna on October 26. This result was crucial for clinching the prestigious cup, which rewards consistency across the four main team regattas of the year. In total, ten young sailors from Salò participated in the event, divided between the Salò 1 and Salò 2 teams, achieving second and fifteenth places respectively in a competition that featured fifteen teams. Coach Marco Baruzzi expressed great satisfaction with the outcome, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and the ongoing commitment of the young sailors. The Coppa Merendon represents a significant recognition for the club, highlighting not only individual successes but also the collective growth of the young athletes in the world of sailing.
