Cantalago 2000: Three Finalists Compete for Singing Festival Trophy

The 2000 edition of Cantalago, the Garda singing festival, will close tomorrow evening in Limone with the final round awarding the coveted trophy to one of the six finalists.

In the original songs category, there is a surprise: there will be three finalists instead of two.

During the vote verification process conducted by the popular judges on Monday evening, when Cantalago made a stop in Riva at Piazza 3 Novembre, the jury confirmed that the seventeen-year-old from Bergamo, Joseph Procino, initially declared a winner of the tie-break, and his opponent, the Tuscan Renato Simone Donatoni, received exactly the same number of votes.

Both will compete for the title against Gilberto Lamacchi.
