Two cyclists were rescued last night around 10:30 PM by the mountain rescue service after getting lost in the area of the Cavallino della Fobbia Pass in Capovalle. The two, riding electric bicycles and heading towards Bollone, encountered difficulties due to the darkness and took a wrong turn. After unsuccessfully attempting to retrace their steps on foot, they called for help. Seven technicians from the CNSAS – National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps were activated for the search, supported by the SAGF – Alpine Rescue of the Guardia di Finanza and the Fire Brigade. Unable to reach the cyclists by phone, the operation included the intervention of the Brescia air rescue service, which, thanks to a flashlight spotted from above, was able to locate the lost individuals. The cyclists were subsequently transported to the hospital for check-ups. The operation concluded successfully during the night. Italian Version
