On the night between Wednesday, May 28, and Thursday, May 29, 2025, a fire destroyed two cars on Via Kennedy in Castiglione delle Stiviere, triggering an alert for the firefighters around 2:30 AM. The flames originated from a Citroen C8, owned by a 37-year-old Pakistani resident of Lonato del Garda, and quickly spread to a nearby Mini Cooper belonging to a 50-year-old Moroccan. Fortunately, the prompt intervention of the firefighters limited the damage.
Investigations carried out by law enforcement led to the identification of a 26-year-old resident of Acquanegra sul Chiese, who has been reported for aggravated damage following the fire. Authorities are now working to clarify the causes and dynamics of the incident, while monitoring the situation to prevent further similar incidents in the area.
